Elginkan Foundation: It was established by Elginkan Family who also created the brand name of E.C.A. This brand name refers to the initials of the first names of three family members of Elginkan as; Ekrem, Cahit and Ahmet. The Elginkan Family of Manisa is including the father Ahmet, the mother Ummehan, and their two sons, Ekrem and Cahit.

In 1954, when all the family members were alive, they decided to establish the Elginkan Foundation. They wanted to integrate this foundation to their future industrial establishments in order to immortalize them. This Foundation would also provide an environment for charity activities which would provide benefits to this country and its people. In 1985, respectable late Ummuhan Elginkan, late H. Ekrem Elginkan, and eight companies which belonged to Elginkan Group structured the Foundation and realized the decision of 1954.
